did you know that there’s a bunch of geese nesting on top of Bioware’s studio building

did you know that the two that visit most frequently are named Ganders and The Arishonk

did you know that you can watch a live feed of the Bioware geese

you’re welcome

every bioware animation

  • back of the head scratch
  • a character shaking their head in disbelief or disgust with hand on their forehead, looking down
  • that kiss animation used since origins and in every mass effect game where they very slowly go in, hesitate, bop their heads around, and really go in for the kiss
  • when a character, usually female, talks and puts their two hands in front of them like a robot and shakes them to illustrate their point

  • a character leans back on one leg with their arms loose
  • the exit-stage-right an NPC does after a conversation ends
  • angry limp wrist pointing
  • neck/collar bone scratch
  • a slow crossing of the arms in times of suspicion
  • that punch animation
  • drinking alcohol and violently shaking head
  • a character gives a half smile with an eyebrow raised
  • pointing behind with thumb, body turns very slightly

I can never watch a conversation again without this post following me around

I’ll just leave this here…

So I have a few polls here, four for Dragon Age and two for SWTOR, and would really appreciate it if some of you could take a minute to fill some of them out. They’re pretty much just a list of the companions, and you can choose up to three favourites, or if I’ve missed any you love, there’s an option to write as well–though please do a max three people, if you choose that option! (i probably forgot some, its been a while since i played through all the games…).

They’re just for my personal use so I can get a feel of which characters people would really like to see in a colouring book. I can guess some, but it would still help me know what sorts of group shots to do, what characters to maybe single out, etc etc. So let me know–if you had a choice, who would you like to see in a colouring book?

Dragon Age: Origins

Dragon Age: Awakening

Dragon Age 2

Dragon Age: Inquisition

SWTOR: Companions

SWTOR: Misc characters

(I literally wrote the first four that came to mind for that last SWTOR one, there’s so many characters I didn’t even know where to go)

And feel free to reblog this–the more results, the better 8) Thanks!

Bioware Coloring Books

Attention all Bioware fans!

Do you love to color? Do you love to create art? If so, I propose we create a fan-made (no profit) coloring book!

Every year there’s the Big Bang fic/art event that goes on. With the popularity of adult coloring books and the increasingly awful winter weather (at least, on the East Coast), wouldn’t it be fun to have a Mass Effect or Dragon Age (or other Bioware property) coloring book filled with fan art and activity pages?

We could have a maze page “Help the Inquisitor’s party find the Dread Wolf.” A connect the dots galaxy themed page. A mandala-esque coloring page where you color in Tali (her outfit is perfect for that) etc.

If anyone’s interested, let me know! We would compile a list of all the individual pages (maybe make it into a PDF too) for everyone to share and print out. We’d make sure every participant gets credit, too!

Thanks to the wonderful @kiramaesavestheworld for giving me this idea! Also, I have seen Dragon Age coloring pages in the past (, but I want to open this to all Bioware properties.

Who wants to participate?
