my-hart-will-go-on:

so here we are folks!

i unboxed my Fenhawke Secret Santa from @rannadylin

and i filmed it because who doesn’t want to see me looking like an utter doofus?

So yeah.

Major huge big thank you to you, Ranna. I absolutely adore these little ones, i (puffy) heart them so very very much ❤ and I can’t wait to take them around my college campus and elsewhere.

When i was done filming this video, I remembered how I left Elithea Hawke in the Fade and now my whole brain is crying haha this is fine.

And i know none of my followers have heard my voice before, so here is my voice. and face. I’m a dork.

so yeah.

thank you so much. ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

YAAAAY! I’m so glad they made it safely to you and that you like them! Watching the unboxing was such fun too, I’m glad you did that!

How strange it is seeing them on the other side of the camera now…hehe! I look forward to their future adventures!

SO MANY DOLLS

Current status:

  • Fenris doll for @my-hart-will-go-on is finished and perfect. Once the Hawke doll is done they can both be shipped, at last, a very late Fenhawke Secret Santa!
  • In the middle is Elithea Hawke whose rogue armor is (maybe) nearing completion. She has trousers, shirt with some sort of crazy straps, and bizarre hip cape. I’m going to attempt gauntlets and boots if I can fit them over the rest of the clothes, and then Hawke and the original Fenris will be ready to ship!
  • Fenris doll for @the-oncoming-glowcloud – doll is knit, embroidered, and endowed with long, braidable (I hope, I haven’t tried braiding it yet…) hair. That pair of leggings in front that just needs the ends woven in is his too. A few more wardrobe/armor items and this @fenhawkearchive giveaway prize will also be ready to ship!
  • In the meantime I’ve started a Fenris doll for myself so I have one with finished markings on hand as a prototype to copy when I make more of these, because I’m thinking Etsy at this point. That’s him on the left with a fully embroidered (YAAAAAY) body and a head that needs stuffed and face-embroidered. and wigged. and clothed.
  • The totally unembroidered doll on the right (I’ve just started knitting his head) is gonna be a Metis doll. 🙂 I might embroider his post-Warriors marked hand? I might not? Stay tuned.

Soon it will be time to consider mage robes to knit for the Metis doll. Suggestions/screenshots of suitable attire are welcomed! He wore green & brown robes in Warriors Such As…jungle camouflage, you know…but that’s probably not the only sort of thing he’d wear.

Rogue Hawke Champion armor is weird but I think I’m making progress on it…Elithea-doll now has shoulder armor, leg armor that still needs to be sewn on, and a hip cape that is blocking now.

Still in doubt is whether she will end up with boots and gauntlets. Maybe Fenris has convinced her of the advantages of going barefoot?

Rogue Elithea Hawke-doll with her crocheted-on straps!

Next…I don’t know…shoulder armor? Leg armor? Hip cape?

rannadylin:

Ok so Fenris doll #2 (for the @fenhawkearchive giveaway) needs his head stuffed and his markings embroidered.

But Hawke doll (for very belated Fenhawke secret Santa for @my-hart-will-go-on) needs more of her rogue champion armor to wear…

Which to knit first? Decisions, decisions. …

Rogue armor it is! Got a decent bit of the tunic done. Now to figure out:

  1. The ridiculous surplus of straps in the front
  2. What if anything they’re connected to in back
  3. Whether that needs to be a separate armor piece or I can just crochet-embroider the straps on the tunic itself
  4. How to fasten the back (some of the leftover tiny clasps from Fenris’ tunic? Buttons?)
  5. Gauntlets?
  6. Leg armor?
  7. After all the above, the fancy hip-cape will be the easy part.

Random feel good thing that I think would be good for everyone’s egos: reblog with your favorite OC of the person above you in the tags. Reasons are optional. Any fandom.

Hawke’s pants are finished; now to knit her a tiny sweater! @my-hart-will-go-on
